No experience is required to be a habilitation technician. If you are selected to work with a consumer, you will receive paid trainings in First Aid and CPR, North Carolina Interventions, Bloodborne Pathogens, Positioning/Turning/Transferring Consumers, Orientation, Medication Administration, and one-on-one training with the consumer you are selected to work with. You are required to have your own transportation, a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, pass our criminal record check standards, and a High School diploma or the equivalent.
Lindley Habilitation is currently hiring for Part-Time and full time Habilitation Technicians to provide one-on-one, direct-care services to individuals with developmental disabilities in the community and in the consumer's homes in Raleigh, Cary, Garner, Wake Forest and surrounding areas of NC. Typically, the hours vary M-F between 2:30pm and 9:30pm and 10am-6pm on Saturday/Sunday (applicants do not need to be available all days and there may be occasional morning and day shift available).
